With Thanksgiving and all, we didn’t get Elizabeth in for her 6 month check-up until today…
Weight: 15 lbs 12 oz (50%)
Height: 25 inches (25%)
Head: 42.8 cm (50%)
She also started squash today. Yum!

Like Mommy’s lunch…just in slightly different forms…

Here, at long last, are the pictures of the top secret sewing project I’ve been working on since August! Since Laura and Stephen are married now, I can reveal their wedding present–a quilt project sewn by six women in three states! I purchased the fabrics (old fashioned theme, including several reprints of fabrics Jane Austen made in one of her quilts) in New Hampshire in August, prewashed and cut them, then sent them all off to Lisa for the first step. She sent them on to Caitlin for the second step. I cut them again and sent them down to Kate and Jenn for the third step. Then I headed over to Wheaton for a day to work with Stephen’s sister Charity to arrange and start sewing together the squares. This past week, I’ve been quilting it all together. But it got finished with almost 24 hours to spare! Laura didn’t know that we were conspiring to do this, especially since Kate and I are the only ones who even knew how to sew before this project–but it was fun, and I think it will fit well in the Musick home!
